Hi Joe,
I think your problem could be CrossDos. Do you have it running
in the background converting text files from 7bit - 8bit ?
If so, I seem to remember that this messes up binary files ( it does
on my 4000 anyway). Try using just the pc0: driver ( don't run
CrossDos at all - you have to reset the machine even if you close
CrossDos after booting! )
